The CRM Analystwill be directly responsible for the design, execution and measurement of campaigns built to support the Payless Loyalty Program. In addition, this analyst will be the primary owner of the direct mail program strategy, execution and analysis. The position requires advanced excel skill set and experience with analytics in a business environment. If you want to be a part of something big from creation, this role is for you!
Responsibilities:
Manage the Payless Rewards Loyalty Program
* Design the multi-channel contact strategy (frequency and messaging) for loyalty customer segments across all direct marketing mediums
* Build the loyalty customer segmentation strategy across all customer groups
* Work with retail operations, IT and other partners to manage the Loyalty Program execution
* Report key program KPIs and perform other analysis as needed
Plan, design, execute and measure direct marketing campaigns (direct mail, email, mobile and social) that meet or exceed company goals
* Build financial pro formas for direct marketing campaigns to accurately project sales, markdowns, cost and profit
* Communicate the contact/segmentation strategy and collateral needs to internal and external partners via campaign briefs
* Leverage campaign management tool(s) to deploy and track direct marketing campaigns across direct mail, email, SMS and social channels:
* Customer Segmentation
* Campaign Design
* Offer Management
* Data Extraction
* Manage the direct mail program strategy, execution and reporting
* Provide campaign execution direction to internal and external vendors
* Track and report on campaign performance through both established KPIs and customer metrics as well as ad hoc program analyses
* Deliver data-driven customer insights related to increasing sales, profit and customer loyalty
* Drive loyalty to Payless brand through customer acquisition, development and retention programs
* Increase ROI of direct marketing spend
* Ad hoc customer analysis as assigned Must Have:
* Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
* Strong excel skill set and proven success in business analytics- marketing experience preferred
* Strong understanding of retail math and financials
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Ability to work well within a team environment and provide leadership as a subject matter expertPreferred qualifications:
* CRM/ direct marketing experience in a large, multi-channel retail environment: multi-channel campaign management and execution across direct mail, email, mobile, and social CRM in an established retailer
* Experience with customer loyalty programs
* Successful experience managing frequent direct mail campaigns: segmentation, targeting , execution and analysis preferred
* Strong PowerPoint skills, proficient with other Microsoft Office tools
* Proficient with BI reporting tools such as Cognos, Business Objects or MicroStrategy
* Proficient with campaign management tools (Unica preferred)
