          Position Summary:
                       
          Under general direction of the Supervisor and the direct supervision of the licensed physical therapist or coordinator, administers therapeutic treatment to patients.
          Minimum Requirements:
           
                  Education:                Associate degree from an APTA accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
           
                  Licensure/
                  Certifications:           Must be eligible for appropriate State license or license eligible. Flexibility, good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing required.  Physiological Knowledge, Health Promotion and Maintenance, Creating a Safe, Effective Environment, Motivating Others, Organization, Bedside Manner, Patient Services, Health Care Administration, Documentation Skills, Listening, Verbal Communication. Word processing experience preferred.
