Job Description:
Synchronizes, updates, maintains, and displays cycle and weekly training calendars. Regularly contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards. Develops products for, and supports the facilitation of the weekly synchronization meeting. De-conflicts schedules, and provides information to visitors to the program and visiting scholars. Effects of decisions are long lasting and heavily influence the future course of the organization.
Basic Qualifications:
Degree level is Bachelors, or Associates with additional experience. The degree concentration is not a limiting factor. Candidates must have 8 years of experience with a related Bachelor’s Degree. Position requires expertise in MS Office, and the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Additionally, candidates must maintain at least a SECRET level security clearance.
Desired Qualifications:
Military experience in Afghanistan or Iraq, and experience with TRADOC or sister-service equivalent education system is desired. Experience should reflect an ability to plan and prepare professional products in dynamic environment.
Essential Job Functions:
Synchronizes and publishes training and education operations, planning, curriculum and resources management across all cycles with regard to time (short, near and long term), resources (classrooms, facilities, information management and classroom material), and instruction (faculty, syllabus, and resources).
Schedules, coordinates, and reduces schedule and resource conflicts with external organizations including other HTS directorates, academic institutions, and other government agencies and training centers to ensure resources, timings, equipment fully support both training and educational objectives.
Develops and forwards for approval short term training schedules (3 weeks), near term calendars (training cycle calendars), long term (FY synchronization matrix).
Tracks individual training issues with proactive solutions with a suspense based process.
Coordinates current theater oriented information, events, TTPs and LLs, into the operational cycle.
Establishes and maintains internal management control systems.
Completes the planning and integration of classroom and field instruction NLT 120 days prior to the associated training cycle beginning.
Ensures all schedules and synchronization matrices are coordinated, published and loaded onto SharePoint.
Schedules the cycle rehearsal briefs with the HTS Training Directorate Teaching Teams.
Conduct short term planning and coordination. Maintain and display the cycle calendars ("Horse blankets").
Prepares products for and supports the facilitation of the coordination and execution of the weekly synch meeting.
Participates as role player in student practical applications and exercises as required.
Work as a member of the training team. Position reports to the Training Integrator Specialist once position is authorized and filled.
