          WesternGeco is looking for highly motivated individuals whose primary job function will be as a Data Processing Seismic Engineer. This role requires analytical problem solving skills, strong communication skills, and a good understanding of science and mathematics. Understanding of geology, geophysics, and experiences with computers is beneficial. The key to all positions at WesternGeco is the ability to apply newly learnt skills quickly and the wish to work both independently and with dynamic teams of processing and technology experts.
          As a Seismic Engineer in Data Processing you will be working in an office environment, but might be expected to make a trip to one of our field crews during your initial training period. You will be enrolled in a training program during your first three years that along with on the job mentoring will ensure you gain the right knowledge to produce quality products for our clients. During this time you will work on processing of seismic data sets from around the world using the most advanced software and hardware in the industry. We are looking for hard working, energetic, motivated people who will enjoy finding and delivering solutions for our clients.
          Degree Requirements:


          • BS in Geology, Geophysics, Earth Science, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science
